My Vision
My initial interest in photography was to keep a record. Someone asked me if I sold my photographs, and my answer was “No, they were the possibility of a painting.” I have always laid out my composition before I draw, paint, or photograph the subject in my mind. I have worked in all mediums at one time or another, but watercolor and pastel were my mode of choice.
As an artist light and composition play a major role in my work. I do not limit myself. Using the camera as your canvas you have to sometimes look through your lens finding the compostion that brings all the elements together.
Well, photography in the digital age has taken hold, and they have become my paintings.
While working as a nature/landscape/ architecture photographer you have to work with the elements given to you.
Loving the outdoors and the world around me I now specialize in nature, landscape, and architectural photography.
